Japan Airlines (JAL) Group to hold ‘JALunLun Black Friday 2025’ Nov 18–30
Japan Airlines (JAL), Nakafurano Town in Hokkaido, and Nichido will open “JAL Auberge Furano” in December 2026.
The new project is based on a partnership agreement concluded in July 2023 between Nakafurano Town and JAL, and will be located in the Hokuseiyama Forest Park area. An auberge is a stay-type tourism model that integrates dining and accommodation experiences. It is expected to generate new visitor flows without concentrating on specific seasons and help address local issues.
The property will have 10 guest rooms, each over 50 square meters and equipped with a mini-kitchen. The design is intended to harmonize with the surrounding nature and local culture. The restaurant will be supervised by Masashi Ishii, owner-chef of the one-Michelin-star restaurant “Le Musée,” with dishes prepared by Chef Shoutaro Tani, who hails from Furano City in Hokkaido.
Construction began in October. The website will launch in June 2026, with sales also starting that month. JAL will handle sales, while Nichido will operate the facility.
