All Nippon Airways (ANA) will implement special handling for flight tickets due to anticipated snowfall in Japan.
As of 5:30 p.m. on December 10, special handling applies to flights to and from Sapporo/New Chitose on December 11.
Due to snowfall associated with the passage of a low-pressure system, there is a possibility of delays, cancellations, diversions to other airports, or returns to the departure airport for flights serving Okhotsk Monbetsu, Odate-Noshiro, and Akita. Strong winds may similarly affect flights to Kushiro and Hakodate.
For tickets on affected flights, ANA will accept changes, rebooking, or refunds without fees, regardless of whether the flight is delayed or canceled.
