All Nippon Airways (ANA), a Japanese airline, will implement special handling for flight tickets as snowfall is expected.
As of 12:30 p.m. on December 13, special handling will apply to flights to and from Sapporo/Chitose on December 14, and to and from Wakkanai, Okhotsk Monbetsu, Memanbetsu, Kushiro, Nemuro Nakashibetsu, and Hakodate on the afternoon of the same day. At these airports in Japan, there is a possibility of delays, cancellations, landings at alternative airports, or returns to the departure airport.
For tickets on the affected flights, ANA will allow changes, rebooking, or refunds without any handling fees, regardless of whether the flight is delayed or canceled.
