Etihad Airways launched its Abu Dhabi–Kazan route on December 4.
The airline operates three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 5 hours and 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 5 hours and 20 minutes from Kazan. This is a seasonal winter service, operating through April 19, 2026.
Kazan is the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russia, a historic city located along the Volga River. It is known as an academic and cultural center where Russian Orthodox and Islamic cultures coexist.
