Air China will launch a Chengdu/Tianfu–Almaty route on December 30.
The airline will operate two round trips per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The route will be served with Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time will be 4.5 hours from Chengdu/Tianfu and 4 hours from Almaty.
Almaty is the largest city in Kazakhstan and the economic and cultural center located on the northern foothills of the Tianshan Mountains. It developed as the former capital and remains a key hub for transportation and industry.
