
Japan Tourism Agency to Hold Briefings Nationwide on New Tax-Free Refund System for Foreign Visitors
Recruit has begun offering an automated pricing function for its SaaS business support service for accommodation facilities, “Revenue Assistant,” starting January 13.
Based on conditions pre-set by the accommodation facility, room rates can now be automatically reflected in the site controller. This is intended to help reduce the workload of price adjustments and prevent the loss of sales opportunities caused by not selling at appropriate prices, thereby supporting an environment in which Japanese accommodation facilities can increase their revenue.
Up to now, it was possible to propose appropriate prices based on demand forecasts using AI and big data, but reflecting those prices in the site controller had to be done manually. With this new function, it becomes possible to reduce operational burden and expand opportunities to sell at optimal prices.
By using this together with the existing automatic accommodation demand detection function, facilities can set pricing conditions that take into account changes in external demand, enabling operations that further maximize revenue opportunities.
