The Lufthansa Group will introduce Starlink high-speed satellite Wi-Fi.
Approximately 850 aircraft across all airlines in the group are covered, with the first aircraft scheduled to begin operations in the latter half of this year. The rollout is expected to be completed by 2029, and further details will be announced within the year.
The service will be offered free of charge in all cabin classes for status members and Travel ID users, enabling activities such as streaming and cloud-based work. This will be the largest introduction of Starlink by any airline.
