
JAL Launches Tokyo/Narita–Delhi Route, Strengthening Connections Between Japan, India and North America
Korean Air has announced that Lee Sang-hoon will assume the position of Head of the Japan Regional Headquarters.
Mr. Lee joined Korean Air in 1993. He has held a number of positions, including Manager in charge of the Japan Regional Reservation Center (Osaka), Sales Manager at the Nagoya Passenger Branch of the Japan Regional Headquarters, Deputy Team Leader of Route Team 2 in the Passenger Business Headquarters’ Route Sales Department, Passenger Team Leader at the Japan Regional Headquarters, Head of the China/Japan Team in the Passenger Routes Department of the Passenger Business Headquarters, General Manager (Senior Director) in charge of the Passenger Sales Department of the Passenger Business Headquarters, and General Manager (Senior Director) in charge of the Schedule Operations Department of the Integrated Control Headquarters.
Mr. Lee commented, “Japan is one of our most important markets, and also one of the earliest international routes we launched. Furthermore, this year is an extremely important time as we prepare for the integration with Asiana Airlines, and I feel a great sense of responsibility in assuming the role of Head of the Japan Regional Headquarters at such a moment. I intend to do my utmost with the support of all our stakeholders.”
