Japan Airlines (JAL) will operate extra flights on the Tokyo/Narita–Honolulu route to coincide with Japan’s Golden Week holiday and the Honolulu Marathon.
The extra flights will operate from April 24 to May 9, and on December 11 and 15, for a total of 18 round-trips (36 flights). The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787-8, configured with 30 seats in business class and 156 seats in economy class, for a total of 186 seats.
The JAL Honolulu Marathon is scheduled to be held on December 13. JAL is also planning to operate larger aircraft during the year-end and New Year period.
