Rakuten Travel Launches “Tokutabi Campaign” Offering Up to 15x Points on Domestic Stays in Japan
Nippon Travel Agency has begun sales of its web-based travel product “Akai Fusen Select,” which allows travelers to freely choose from various destination-based tourism options, starting February 5.
Up to now, its individual travel booking website mainly sold accommodation-only plans, as well as set plans combining transportation and accommodation. With the new service, travelers can now combine destination tourism options such as local activities, rental cars, and meals.
The available destinations are Hokkaido and Okinawa in Japan, with the sales period running from April 1 to October 31. Initially, only rental cars are available, allowing users to combine vehicles from Toyota Rent a Car and ORIX Rent-A-Car.
