The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special measures for air tickets, as snowfall and strong winds are expected due to a low-pressure system.
As of 2:30 p.m. on February 6, special measures apply to flights on February 8 to and from Sapporo/Okadama, Tajima, Izumo, Oki, Yamaguchi Ube, Kitakyushu, Oita, Tanegashima, Yakushima, Amami, Kikaijima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabu, Yoron, and Yonaguni. Depending on future weather conditions, additional routes and periods may be added.
For affected flights, ticket changes, rebooking, and refunds are available free of charge, regardless of delays or cancellations. Changes and refunds can be processed on the website.
