Mitsui Sumitomo Card is running a first-year annual fee waiver campaign for the “Mitsui Sumitomo Card Gold (NL)” from January 7 to April 30.
For primary cardholders who newly apply for this card during the campaign period, the first-year annual fee of 5,500 yen (tax included) will be waived. Only newly issued cards are eligible; card upgrades or switches from existing cards are not included.
Furthermore, if the cardholder achieves an annual spending of 1 million yen or more, the annual fee for the following years will also be waived, allowing them to hold the gold card with no annual fee permanently.
