American Airlines to Open New Admirals Club Lounge at Chicago O’Hare International Airport
Japan Airlines (JAL) will gradually introduce self-service lounge entry kiosks at its international lounges at Tokyo Haneda Airport and Narita International Airport in Japan.
Previously, passengers were required to present their boarding pass to staff at the lounge reception desk. With the new self-service entry kiosks, eligible passengers can enter the lounge by themselves, which is expected to reduce waiting times at reception. By following the on-screen instructions and scanning the 2D barcode on a boarding pass, mobile boarding pass, or home-printed boarding pass at the kiosk, passengers can gain access. The system supports five languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
The kiosks will be installed in the reception halls of the “JAL First Class Lounge” and “Sakura Lounge” at both Haneda and Narita airports. Eligible users are passengers on JAL-operated flights who are entitled to access the JAL First Class Lounge or Sakura Lounge. JMB Diamond, JGC Premier, and oneworld Emerald members accompanied by two or more guests are not able to use the kiosks.
