Washington R&B Hotel Nagoya Sakae East held its grand reopening after renovation on February 17.
The guest rooms now consist of 169 single rooms and 18 twin rooms, for a total of 187 rooms, with 6 of the rooms reconfigured as connecting rooms that allow guests to move freely between two rooms via an interior door. Single rooms are equipped with 120-centimeter-wide beds and wide desks with spacious tabletops, while twin rooms feature separate bath and toilet areas, and the beds can be rearranged. In-room, guests can watch video streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix on a 40-inch television, and HDMI cables for connecting laptops or gaming devices are available for loan at the front desk. At the time of reservation, guests can choose their mattress type, selecting from an airweave mattress or a nishikawa AiR mattress. Some rooms are also equipped with ReFa showerheads and hair dryers.
In the lobby, a pillow rack has been installed where guests can select from six options, combining three pillow shapes and two pillow heights according to their preferences. Breakfast is served buffet style, centered around bread freshly baked every morning by the staff, along with hot coffee, various soups, salads, organic granola, and morning curry.
