Nippon Travel Agency (Japan) announced its full-year financial results for the fiscal year ending December 2025. Net profit was 1.8 billion yen.
Net sales totaled 213.037 billion yen, operating profit was 1.115 billion yen, and ordinary profit was 2.063 billion yen.
By segment, gross profit from domestic travel was 24.807 billion yen (down 0.3% year-on-year), overseas travel was 3.556 billion yen (up 9.8%), the international travel division (inbound to Japan) was 5.243 billion yen (up 1.9%), and entrusted business was 4.477 billion yen (down 24.7%).
While inbound demand to Japan expanded due to the weak yen, domestic travel in Japan, although benefiting to some extent from the Osaka-Kansai Expo, remained generally limited overall due to rising prices. Overseas travel from Japan showed a gradual recovery despite the impact of the weak yen. The company also focused on proposal-based sales to the national government and local municipalities in Japan, as well as on selling package plans developed in cooperation with JR Group railway companies.
