
Japan Hotel REIT to Acquire Hyatt Regency Tokyo and Add Extended-Stay Rooms
InterContinental Yokohama Pier 8 will offer “Larboard Afternoon Tea – Spring” from March 3 to June 2 in Yokohama, Japan.
The menu includes five savory items: new onion soup prepared without water, sakura shrimp tart, foie gras flan, Yokohama egg sandwich, and marinated broadclub cuttlefish with bottarga flavor. There are also five sweets: strawberry crumble tart, matcha brownie, strawberry and pistachio shortcake, plum and citrus jelly, and a two-layer panna cotta made with cherry blossoms or strawberries.
In addition, the hotel will serve Bratkartoffeln, a German home-style dish of potatoes combined with Yamato pork bacon and onions, and a matcha Mont Blanc made with cookie dough topped with sweet potato brûlée and chantilly cream, and piped matcha cream based on chestnut paste and white bean paste. Plain scones will be served with clotted cream and honey. For drinks, guests can enjoy unlimited selections from 9 kinds of TWG Tea black and flavored teas and 5 kinds of coffee.
The venue is the 2nd-floor restaurant & bar “Larboard.” The afternoon tea is available for 120 minutes from noon to 4:00 p.m. The price is JPY 7,500, or JPY 10,000 with a glass of champagne, tax and service charge included.
