
Lufthansa Group Pilots to Strike on March 12–13
The Japanese government will operate charter flights from Dubai to Tokyo/Haneda and from Riyadh to Tokyo/Narita as early as March 10.
The flight from Dubai is scheduled to depart at around 11:00 p.m. on the same day and is expected to arrive at Tokyo Haneda Airport in the afternoon of the following day, March 11. Emirates Airline will operate this flight. The flight from Riyadh is scheduled to depart at around 4:50 p.m. on the same day and is expected to arrive at Tokyo Narita Airport at 9:35 a.m. on March 11. Ethiopian Airlines will operate this flight.
The flights are intended for Japanese nationals and their spouses and children. Priority will be given to those requiring special consideration, unaccompanied minors, and short-term travelers who do not have a residence or other base in the area.
The Japanese government has already operated charter flights from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and Muscat in Oman.
