Sheraton Grand Hiroshima Hotel is offering a “15th Anniversary Sheraton Afternoon Tea” from March 1 to 31 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its opening on March 28 in Hiroshima, Japan.
The afternoon tea features 8 kinds of sweets created by pastry chefs from 8 Sheraton hotels in Japan. The menu includes Thunder Okoshi Praline Gateau Chocolat, Peanut Karukan (steamed Japanese confection), YOKOHAMA BLUE, Kawachi Wine Jelly, Yamada Nishiki Rice Flour Cake, Sweet Potato Basque Cheesecake, Purple Sweet Potato Tart, and Hiroshima Lemon Mascarpone Mousse, each showcasing ingredients and characteristics from its local region. Savories include 6 items such as Green Pea Potage, Meat Pie, and Croque-Monsieur with Sheraton Original Ham, along with Prune & Orange Scones and Chocolate Chip Scones. For drinks, in addition to a welcome Strawberry Shake, teas from ART OF TEA are served.
The venue is the lobby lounge “&More by Sheraton” on the lobby floor. Service hours are from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, and in two 120-minute seatings starting at 12:00 noon and 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. The price is 4,900 yen, including tax and service charge.
