APA Hotel has signed a franchise agreement with Otaru Green Hotel and will rebrand and open it as “APA Hotel <Okhotsk Kitami>” on April 1.
The property is the former Kitami Plaza Hotel. The building has eight floors above ground, and the number of guest rooms will be increased from the current 90 to 100. Guest rooms will be equipped with 50-inch televisions, APA’s original “Cloud fit” beds, dual outlets at the bedside, and free Wi-Fi.
Facilities will include a flat parking lot for up to 70 cars, self check-in machines that support advance payment and room selection, and digital information displays that show hotel information on the in-room televisions. All guest rooms and the lobby will also offer free access to video streaming services and BBC World News.
The hotel is a 5-minute drive from JR Kitami Station.
