Livemax has reopened “Livemax Resort Kawamata Onsen” after rebranding on January 30.
Formerly known as Nikko National Park Kawamata Onsen Kura, the property offers 31 guest rooms, including 18-square-meter Japanese-style rooms called “Wabire Corner.”
Inside the hotel, there is a large public bath with natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source, as well as five open-air baths overlooking the valley. Meals are served as kaiseki cuisine at the on-site restaurant, and upgraded plans are available featuring Tochigi Wagyu beef, crab, and tiger pufferfish (torafugu).
