Sun Frontier Hotel Management reopened “Hiyori Hotel Flex Osaka Dotonbori” under a new brand on March 1.
The property is a rebranded version of Joytel Hotel Namba Dotonbori, which had been operated by Nihon Toshi Hotel Kaihatsu (Japan Urban Hotel Development). The hotel offers 53 guest rooms in 5 types, mainly twin rooms. Rooms are equipped with Serta beds, a table and chairs, a smart TV with access to services such as Netflix and YouTube, a refrigerator, and a kettle. From some rooms, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Dotonbori River as well as the Namba and Shinsaibashi areas of Osaka, Japan. A negative ion hair dryer is provided in all rooms, while large hand mirrors, hair irons, foot massagers, and shoe dryers are available to borrow.
In the morning, the hotel serves a breakfast buffet featuring more than 25 Japanese and Western dishes, including scrambled eggs, freshly baked bread, and pancakes that guests can cook themselves. After breakfast hours, the restaurant becomes an exclusive lounge for staying guests, equipped with ultra high-speed Wi‑Fi, USB ports, and power outlets, and guests are free to go in and out to the terrace along the Dotonbori River. The hotel also offers welcome drinks, pancake service, and morning coffee.
The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Nankai Namba Station and Osaka Metro Namba Station.
