APA Hotel will open “APA Hotel Saitama Ageo Ekimae” in June.
Platinum Space has acquired Ai Hotel Ageo and will operate it under a franchise agreement. Platinum Space is a first-class architectural design office and general construction company that handles everything from the design to the construction of stores and hotels, and has carried out many renovations of guest rooms and entrances. This is its first entry into the hotel business.
The building has 9 floors above ground and 126 guest rooms. Guest rooms will be equipped with 50-inch televisions, APA’s original “Cloud fit Grand” beds, a centralized bedside controller, APA Digital Information, free broadcasts of BBC World News, and free Wi-Fi. The hotel will also feature an on-site restaurant and coin-operated laundry.
The hotel is located about a 3-minute walk from JR Ageo Station. In addition to the upcoming opening of the Shin-Omiya Ageo Road, the hotel offers excellent rail access—about 8 minutes to Omiya Station and about 40 minutes to Tokyo Station—making it suitable for both business and leisure travelers.
Ai Hotel is a hotel brand operated by Aoki. Through a franchise agreement with APA Hotel, former Ai Hotel Keikyu Kamata Ekimae and former Ai Hotel Hashimoto have already been rebranded and reopened as APA Hotels.
