Qatar Airways to Partially Resume Operations from March 18
Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aéreas will launch two routes to Europe.
The Rio de Janeiro–Lisbon route will operate four round trips per week starting September 16. GOL also plans to open the Rio de Janeiro–Paris/Charles de Gaulle route, with details to be announced soon. Both routes will be operated with Airbus A330 aircraft equipped with the new Insígnia business class.
Onboard, a menu created by Brazilian chef Felipe Bronze, who has been awarded two Michelin stars, will be offered. The three-course lunch and dinner feature traditional Brazilian cooking techniques and ingredients with an original, creative twist.
This marks GOL’s first expansion into Europe since the airline was founded in 2001.
