Tokai Kisen has announced that it will end sales of its Internet Discount and Early Purchase Discount for sailings on and after March 31.
The company explains that this decision is due to the continued tough business environment caused by rising labor costs and vessel repair costs in recent years. Student discounts, disability discounts, and shareholder discounts will remain available for sailings on and after April 1.
The “Internet Discount” offers a 10% discount on fares for all cabins except Special 1st Class Japanese-style rooms. The “Early Purchase Discount” offers a 15% discount on fares for all cabin types when tickets are purchased at least 14 days before departure.
