Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, located in Yokohama, Japan, is offering a “Spring Evening High Tea” themed around cherry blossoms and strawberries from March 1 to April 30.
The menu features appetizers in soft hues evocative of cherry blossoms, such as cherry-blossom-pink beet and potato velouté, petite salad of colorful vegetables, salmon and fromage blanc tart, strawberry and mozzarella caprese, and smoked duck and orange pintxos. Warm dishes accented with strawberries include a mini burger with a sakura-colored bun kneaded with beet, domestic pork confit served with wasabi sauce, and baked macaroni and cheese in a cocotte. For dessert, a parfait-style finale is offered, combining rosé wine jelly with strawberries. Drinks are served free-flow, including Moët & Chandon Moët Impérial, five types each of spring-limited cocktails and mocktails, draft beer, red and white wine, and whisky.
The venue is the top-floor 28th-floor Sky Lounge “Bay View.” The offering is available between 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., with a two-hour seating and a 90-minute drink service. The price is 11,000 yen, tax and service charge included.
