Rakuten Payment has enabled the use of its cashless payment service “Rakuten Pay” at three major airports in the Kansai region of Japan.
The service is now available at Kansai International Airport, Itami Airport, and Kobe Airport. Users can earn up to 2.5% in Rakuten Points based on the payment amount, and they can also use their Rakuten Points when making payments.
The IC-type electronic money service “Rakuten Edy,” also operated by Rakuten Payment, was already accepted at these locations.
