
Belluna to Acquire Kussharo Prince Hotel in Hokkaido
Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort will offer the “Strawberry Afternoon Tea with Miyakojima Strawberries” from March 8 to June 7.
The menu features nine kinds of sweets using fully ripened strawberries procured directly from local farmers, including “Strawberry and Raspberry Cake,” made with mousse using homemade puree of strawberries grown in Miyakojima layered with raspberry jelly; “Strawberry and Condensed Milk Daifuku Mousse,” condensed milk mousse filled with homemade confiture and wrapped in gyuhi (soft rice cake); and “Strawberry Mille-Feuille,” caramelized puff pastry layered with homemade custard and fresh strawberries. There are also three savory items such as “Popcorn Shrimp with Strawberry Chili Sauce” and “Strawberry and Yukishio Cheese Bruschetta.” Scones are served with strawberry jam and shikuwasa butter. Guests can enjoy as much as they like from 13 types of beverages, including forest strawberry rooibos tea, dragon fruit herbal tea, and various coffees.
The venue is the Lobby Lounge “Saryo” on the 2nd floor. Serving hours are from noon to 5:00 p.m. The price is 4,800 yen, tax and service charge included. Reservations are required by 6:00 p.m. on the previous day.
