Vessel Hotel Kanda Kitakyushu Airport completed the renovation of its guest rooms, which had been carried out in stages since November 2025, on March 30.
The interiors of all 128 rooms, including extra triple, twin, extra twin, and single rooms, have been updated, and a new quadruple room type has been introduced. All beds have been standardized to Simmons beds, the carpets have been replaced, and the rooms have been redesigned in a style where guests remove their shoes. Stays for children 18 years old and under sharing a bed with a parent or guardian are free of charge, and baby cribs and other rental items, children’s amenities, and baby products such as diapers and wipes are also provided free of charge.
The hotel is equipped with coin-operated laundry machines, an ice machine, a water dispenser, and complimentary computers and printers. ReFa hair dryers, rental bicycles, irons, umbrellas, and other items are also available to borrow. In addition, complimentary welcome drinks such as coffee and juice are offered from noon to 11:00 p.m. The breakfast buffet features local specialties from Fukuoka Prefecture, including nukadaki (fish simmered in rice bran), game-ni (simmered chicken and vegetables), beef offal teppan-yaki, iron-pan gyoza dumplings, and cabbage-yaki, as well as local dishes from Kitakyushu such as Kitakyushu ramen and meat udon.
