American Airlines will resume service to Venezuela.
Subject to approval and preparations by the United States and Venezuelan governments, the airline plans to resume flights on the Miami–Caracas route as early as April 30. Envoy Air will operate the route under the American Eagle brand. The aircraft will be Embraer E175s, with one round-trip flight per day.
American Airlines is the first carrier to announce plans to resume operations to Venezuela. The airline began serving Venezuela in 1987 and, until it suspended operations in 2019, operated the largest number of flights to the country among U.S. airlines.
