El Al Israel Airlines will expand its scale of operations.
This move follows the agreement on a ceasefire, and the airline will gradually resume services to around 40 cities in Europe, the United States, and Asia. For the time being, the number of passengers per aircraft is limited to 100.
The airline also plans to resume operations on the Tokyo/Narita–Tel Aviv route, with flights departing Tel Aviv on April 12, 14, and 15. The aircraft type used will be the Boeing 787-9.
New bookings for departures from Israel through April 18 have been suspended, and seats are currently being assigned to passengers who already hold tickets. Many people are still waiting for reassignment, which is being carried out based on the original ticket dates. For departures through August, fare caps have been set for Economy Class and Premium Class.
