Hato Bus and JAL Agriport will operate the “JAL Group & Hato Bus Collaborative Project: Sustainable Tour to Learn Around Narita Airport.”
As a sustainable tour, participants will visit key locations around Narita Airport, such as Sakura-no-Yama Park, the traditional Japanese-house-style restaurant “DINING PORT Goryo-tsuru,” and the farm “JAL FARM.” The tour is designed to deepen understanding of local communities and the environment through agriculture and aviation. A large hybrid sightseeing bus will be used for transportation.
At “DINING PORT Goryo-tsuru,” a Goryo-tsuru Small Bowl Set Meal will be served, featuring ingredients and traditional dishes from municipalities adjacent to Narita City. After the meal, there will be an “Eco Class on Aircraft,” given by an active JAL flight crew member. The program introduces environmental conservation initiatives promoted by the JAL Group and encourages participants to think about aircraft and environmental issues while drinking JAL’s original beverage “Sky Time.”
At “JAL FARM,” participants can enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberries, including varieties served in JAL’s international First Class, and learn about initiatives in sustainable agriculture. Guests will also receive a gift of “Imokenpi Onion Consommé Flavor,” a snack made with the sweet potato variety “Beni Azuma” used for sweets on JAL’s domestic First Class.
The tour departs from and arrives at Tokyo Station Marunouchi South Exit. The tour dates are April 25, and May 9, 10, 16, and 17. The fare is 19,800 yen (tax included) per person for both adults and children. Reservations are accepted on the Hato Bus website from 2:00 p.m. on March 27.
