KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has decided to cancel some of its flights in May due to soaring fuel prices.
The cancellations will affect 80 round-trip flights on intra-European routes to and from Amsterdam that are no longer profitable. This represents less than 1% of KLM’s intra-European flights. The airline stated that there is no fuel shortage.
Since the affected routes mainly include destinations such as London and Düsseldorf, where multiple flights operate per day, passengers will be rebooked on the next available flight.
