Cathay Pacific Launches “Spring Miles Up” Campaign for Flights from Japan
Etihad Airways has launched a special offer for obtaining elite status in its frequent flyer program, Etihad Guest.
The offer applies to Asia, including Japan, and the Middle East markets. Travelers who take one round trip in Business Class to Abu Dhabi or beyond Abu Dhabi will be granted Gold status, while those who take one round trip in Economy Class will be granted Silver status. Reservations must be made between April 16 and 30, and travel must be completed between April 16 and July 15. Registration for the offer is required.
Etihad Guest has five membership tiers, and under normal conditions, 25,000 Tier Miles are required for Silver status and 50,000 Tier Miles for Gold status.
Silver members receive a 25% bonus miles, and Gold members receive a 50% bonus miles, in addition to shared benefits such as priority baggage, check-in, and immigration. As custom benefits, Silver members can select two perks and Gold members can select four perks from options such as lounge access and limousine transfers.
In light of the situation in the Middle East, Etihad is implementing special measures, including a 25% reduction in the qualification thresholds, through March 31, 2027.
