
JAL Temporarily Increases Tokyo Haneda – Helsinki Flights in June
Spring Japan, a Japanese low-cost airline, will launch its Nagoya/Chubu–Sapporo/Chitose route on April 23.
The airline will operate one round-trip flight per day on selected days of the week. The aircraft will be a Boeing 737-800 configured with 189 seats in economy class. The flight time will be 1 hour 45 minutes from Nagoya/Chubu and 1 hour 55 minutes from Sapporo/Chitose.
To commemorate the launch, a special one-way promotional fare of 758 yen, themed on Nagoya, will be offered exclusively for travel on the first day of service, April 23. Sales began at 5:00 p.m. on April 17.
With this new service, the number of airlines operating this route will increase to six: All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan Airlines (JAL), Peach Aviation, AIRDO, Skymark Airlines, and Spring Japan. In addition, Tokachi Air (Tokiw Air) operates the Nagoya/Chubu–Sapporo/Okadama route, and Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) operates the Nagoya/Komaki–Sapporo/Chitose route.
