Japan-based Granvista Hotel & Resort will open “BLISSTIA SUITES & RESORT Okinawa Onna Village” on July 15.
The building has 13 floors above ground and 1 basement floor. All 139 guest rooms, including Corner Premium Suites and Superior Suites, are at least 50 square meters in size. Each room is equipped with a 3-meter-deep lanai, and guests can choose between ocean-view rooms overlooking the sea and forest-view rooms overlooking the surrounding greenery.
Facilities include an entrance and lobby inspired by gusuku (traditional Okinawan castles), a main dining restaurant serving dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, a pool lounge, a heated outdoor infinity pool, and an indoor pool.
The property will also introduce a regional collaboration system in which hotel cast members work together with local residents and businesses. It will offer local experience programs such as pottery workshops by potter Akira Tamada, using red clay unearthed during the hotel’s construction.
