Hilton Tokyo Launches Marie Antoinette Petit Boulangerie Afternoon Tea
Mandarin Oriental has reopened the “Mandarin Oriental Conservatorium Amsterdam” on January 14 following a rebranding.
The property was formerly the Conservatorium Hotel. The building itself is a renovated structure that had been used as a conservatory school building since the 1980s. As part of the rebranding, the design of the lounge has been updated and the contents of the afternoon tea completely renewed. Guest rooms and suites will be progressively renovated, starting with the deluxe rooms. The 1,000-square-meter hotel spa “Akasha Spa” will continue to operate.
For dining, a restaurant by Yotam Ottolenghi is scheduled to open inside the hotel in early 2026, serving shared vegetable-focused dishes made with locally sourced ingredients for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, the Asian restaurant “Taiko Cuisine” will continue to operate under a new head chef, offering dishes that express Asian flavors in a contemporary way, based on traditional techniques and seasonal ingredients.
