
Hilton Tokyo Launches Marie Antoinette Petit Boulangerie Afternoon Tea
The Westin Tokyo will hold its “Dessert Buffet – MATCHA SYMPHONY: Surrounded by the Aroma of Matcha, an Elegant Open‑Air Tea Feast” on weekdays only, from May 1 to June 30.
The desserts are made with matcha from Uji in Kyoto and Nishio in Aichi Prefecture, and about 20 varieties will be available, including matcha soufflé cheesecake; red berry and matcha trifle layering matcha with raspberries and cassis; matcha kugelhopf with black soybeans; matcha Mont Blanc topped with Oreo; matcha tiramisu; matcha and lemon tart; matcha kanten jelly with honey‑soaked apricots and black soybeans; matcha cream puffs; and rich matcha brûlée with rum raisins. The venue is the international restaurant “The Terrace” on the first floor. The buffet is offered in 90‑minute seatings from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Prices, including tax and service charge, are 6,800 yen for adults and 3,500 yen for children.
In addition, the first‑floor pastry boutique will hold a matcha fair, selling five kinds of sweets: matcha and pistachio cream puff (1,200 yen), matcha dry landscape‑style tiramisu (920 yen), matcha butter cream cake (920 yen), matcha éclair (820 yen), and matcha opera cake (800 yen).
