HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO will offer a “Fresh Green Afternoon Tea” from April 29 to June 30.
On the plate that expresses the beauty of the fresh green season, six kinds of sweets are arranged, including seasonal melon and kiwi and matcha-based items such as “Melon and Perilla Verrine,” “Matcha and Lemon Terrine,” “Rhubarb and Cheese Mousse,” and “Kiwi Tartelettes.” Five kinds of savory items will also be available, such as “Green Hummus Tart Style,” “Shrimp and Vegetable Aspic,” and “Spring Roll with Yogurt Sauce.” For the welcome tea, gyokuro from the Kyoto tea shop “Ryoen” will be served, and more than 20 kinds of beverages including TWG tea will be offered on a free-flow basis. As a premium option, a set including a melon parfait and three original mocktails (9,800 yen) will also be available.
The venue is the bar & lounge “THE GARDEN BAR.” The afternoon tea is offered in 2-hour slots starting at 12:00 noon, 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. The price is 7,800 yen. All prices include tax and service charge.
