Swiss International Air Lines announced that it distributed 230,000 “Easter Bunny” chocolates during the Easter holiday period.
During the Easter holiday period from April 3 to 6, the airline operated 1,657 flights and carried around 210,000 passengers. The completion rate was 99.3 percent, and the on-time departure rate was 77.2 percent. Compared to 2025, both the number of flights and the number of passengers decreased.
In Japan, the Easter holiday season is known as one of the busiest travel periods of the year. For short-haul destinations from Switzerland, London Heathrow, Berlin, and Barcelona were particularly popular, while for long-haul destinations, New York, Miami, and Chicago saw strong demand.
