Etihad Airways will expand the deployment of its Airbus A321LR aircraft on the Abu Dhabi–Mumbai and Abu Dhabi–Delhi routes.
Out of the four round-trip flights operated daily on each route, the aircraft will be deployed on two round trips. The remaining two round trips are operated with larger aircraft such as the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, enhancing the overall service.
The aircraft is configured with a total of 160 seats: 2 First Suites, 14 Business Class seats, and 144 Economy Class seats. The First Suites feature a 20-inch 4K monitor, wireless charging, and a dedicated space for accompanying guests, and are also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. Business Class has a “1-1” configuration with 78-inch full-flat seats, 17.3-inch 4K monitors, wireless charging, and Bluetooth connectivity for headphones, as well as ample storage space. Economy Class has a “3-3” layout with ergonomically designed seats 18.4 inches wide, offering up to 5 inches of recline. Each seat is equipped with a 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen monitor and USB power outlets.
The Airbus A321LR is already deployed on all flights of the Abu Dhabi–Kolkata route, strengthening services on India routes while providing a consistent level of service in conjunction with Etihad’s Europe and North America routes.
