Thai AirAsia will suspend its Okinawa/Naha–Hong Kong route as of May 6.
The airline currently operates one round trip per day on this route, using Airbus A320 aircraft. It has decided to suspend the route until March 27, 2027.
Thai AirAsia launched the Okinawa/Naha–Hong Kong–Bangkok/Don Mueang route on June 1, 2025. It was the first route for the airline to utilize fifth freedom rights via Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Express Airways and Hong Kong Airlines also operate flights on this route.
