Air Premia launched its Seoul/Incheon–Washington Dulles route on April 24.
The airline operates four round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Flight time is 13 hours 45 minutes from Seoul/Incheon and 15 hours 25 minutes from Washington Dulles.
On long-haul routes, the airline differentiates itself with its “Wide Premium” service concept, emphasizing comfort with a seat pitch of 42–46 inches and a seat width of 20 inches.
This is Air Premia’s fourth North American route after Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco, and its longest route. The airline expects it will increase the number of seats on U.S. East Coast routes and expand travel options. It is the first new service to Washington by a South Korean airline in 31 years, making Air Premia the second Korean carrier serving the city after Korean Air. With this launch, Air Premia’s operated routes have expanded to nine.
