Cebu Pacific to Cancel 166 Japan–Philippines Flights Between August and September
Alaska Airlines launched its Seattle–Rome route on April 28.
Although it was initially planned to operate four round trips per week, due to strong demand it was increased to one round trip per day. The route is operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. It will operate as a seasonal summer service through October 23.
Following the already operating Seattle–Seoul/Incheon route, the service will also use aircraft equipped with the new international business class “Suites”. This is Alaska Airlines’ first route to Europe, and on May 21 it will launch its Seattle–London/Heathrow route.
Alaska Airlines plans to deploy up to 17 Boeing 787-9 aircraft, and aims to launch more than 12 transcontinental routes from Seattle by 2030.
