AIRDO Adds New In-Flight Sale Items, Including Original Notebook and Candy Tins
The Qantas Group will continue to adjust its operational capacity from July through September in response to higher fuel costs stemming from the situation in the Middle East.
On European routes, some aircraft will be redeployed to services connecting Australia and Europe. The additional flights on the Perth–Rome route will continue to operate through the end of October. The Sydney–Paris route will return, as scheduled, to three round trips per week from August and will continue to operate via Singapore. These changes will increase capacity to Europe by 2,000 seats per week.
Meanwhile, the Sydney–Bengaluru route will be temporarily suspended from August through the end of October. Both Qantas Airways and Jetstar Airways will reduce capacity on Trans-Tasman routes as well. Overall international capacity for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 (July–September) will be reduced by 2 percentage points compared to the original plan.
On Australian domestic routes, the previously announced 5% reduction in capacity, mainly on routes between major cities, will be extended through the end of September.
