JALCARD (the credit card brand of Japan Airlines) will revise the JALCARD-exclusive services offered to members of the JAL Family Club from July 1.
For the Overseas Assignment Comprehensive Insurance Program currently provided to those who are both JAL Family Club members and JALCARD members, the JALCARD-member-only elements will be eliminated and the program will be made available to all JAL Family Club members. Along with this change, payments will also be allowed with credit cards other than JALCARD.
The assignment flight bonus miles exclusively for JALCARD members will be discontinued for flights taken on or after June 30. At present, 1,000 miles are awarded to JAL Family Club primary members who also hold a JALCARD as a primary or family cardholder. The assignment flight bonus miles for JAL Family Club members (5,000 miles) will continue to be offered.
