Cathay Pacific Airways will change its boarding start time and boarding cut-off time from June 1.
The boarding cut-off time will be set to 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. For all flights departing from Hong Kong, the boarding start time will be moved forward by 5 minutes compared to the current time. The airline decided to introduce these changes based on feedback from passengers and staff.
Recognizing that passengers place importance on a smooth and comfortable boarding experience that allows them to relax and settle in on board before departure, the airline states that by moving the boarding start time earlier, it aims to provide an even more pleasant boarding experience while enabling smoother handling of final preparations for on-time departures and last-minute changes.
