Vietjet Air will launch a Hanoi–Almaty–Prague route on October 10.
The airline will operate two round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The flight time is 15 hours and 30 minutes from Hanoi, and 14 hours and 25 minutes from Prague. Travel solely between Hanoi and Almaty is not permitted.
The route was initially reported to be scheduled for launch in July. In March, the authorities of Kazakhstan approved the airline’s use of fifth freedom rights on this route. A large number of Vietnamese nationals reside in the Czech Republic.
