The Sri Lanka Immigration and Emigration Department has announced that it will waive registration fees for tourist visas (ETA) for 40 countries, including Japan.
The visa allows up to two entries, and the permitted length of stay is 30 days, counted from the date of first entry. If the stay exceeds 30 days, travelers must apply to the Immigration and Emigration Department for a visa extension.
The program started on May 25, and registration fees already paid before the start date will not be refunded.
