
Cathay Pacific Lounge at Narita Airport to Temporarily Close for Renovation
Naha Airport in Okinawa, Japan, has decided to close its terminal building for the entire day on June 1 due to the impact of Typhoon No. 6.
As the typhoon approaches, airlines have already decided to cancel flights to and from Okinawa/Naha for that day.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, as of 11:00 p.m. on May 31, Typhoon No. 6 was located about 310 kilometers southeast of Miyako Island, moving north-northwest at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour. Its central pressure is 975 hectopascals, and the maximum wind speed near the center is 30 meters per second.
Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yui Rail) will also suspend operations from the first train on the same day.
