The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special measures for flight tickets, as bad weather is expected due to the approach of Typhoon No. 6 to Japan.
As of 2:00 p.m. on June 1, the special measures apply to flights to and from the following Japanese airports: Kikai Island, Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, and Okinoerabu from May 31 to June 3; Yoron from May 31 to June 2; Okinawa/Naha, Kitadaito, Minamidaito, Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni from June 1 to 2; Tanegashima and Yakushima from June 1 to 3; Takamatsu, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima on June 2; and Tokyo/Haneda, Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka/Kansai, Nanki-Shirahama, Tajima, Tokushima, and Kochi on June 3. For Osaka/Itami, only morning arrivals and departures are covered, while for other airports, all flights from the first to the last departure of the day are eligible.
For tickets on the eligible flights, changes, rebooking, and refunds will be accepted without any handling fees, regardless of delays or cancellations.
